About

Tom Pelissero is a national NFL writer for USA TODAY Sports and a host on SiriusXM NFL Radio and 1500 ESPN Twin Cities.

He joined USA TODAY in 2013 after stints on the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings beats, so he still isn’t convinced Brett Favre is really retired.

In 2014, Tom had the first interview with Vikings star Adrian Peterson after his suspension on a child injury charge, and the story helped USA TODAY win an Associated Press Sports Editors Top 10 award in the projects category. Tom also has won Wisconsin Newspaper Association and Milwaukee Press Club awards.

Tom lives outside Minneapolis, but he’s usually on a plane or something.
